The Law Firm of Kallis & Associates P.C. was established in 1997 in San Jose, California. Our firm provides a wide range of litigation and legal services for individuals and businesses. We represent clients throughout the South Bay area, including Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, and Alameda counties, as well as the San Francisco Bay Area. We also practice in Fairbanks, Alaska, and throughout the Interior, and in the Vancouver, Washington, area.

Jeff Kallis earned his law degree to pursue his passion for justice, and represents clients as a criminal defense, civil rights, and litigation attorney. His relationship with clients is based on their legal needs and their rights, not on his own need to generate revenue. He takes cases that are interesting and show a compelling need for skilled legal representation.

Diverse Experience

Mr. Kallis is a tenured professor who has taught business and marketing at San Jose State University for nearly thirty years. He also holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.

A former owner of an industrial and marketing consulting company, he is in a unique position to assist clients in business litigation and provide counsel on business practices. His experience as a former undercover narcotics officer is a source of insight for his criminal defense practice. An avid mariner with a captain's certificate from the U.S. Coast Guard, he is knowledgeable about boat and marine insurance issues.

Professional Involvement

Mr. Kallis is a member of the California, Washington, Alaska, and American Bar Associations. He also belongs to the Defense Research Institute, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Whistleblowers Center.

Community Involvement

Twice a week, Mr. Kallis provides free legal counsel to California college students at the student union of San Jose State University. He actively fights for the rights of animal owners and helps them protect their animals. He also participates in numerous organizations that promote civil rights.
